The North American Commercial Vehicle Show (NACV) has officially opened online registration for its inaugural trade show in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center from September 25th to September 28th

With an emphasis on commercial vehicle parts and truck and trailer manufacturers, the NACV Show will feature top-tier brands of trucks and trailers from across the world.

At this time, NACV Show officials report more than 95% of the space for the exhibition has been reserved, those in managerial positions for trucking companies are welcome to apply at the trade show site as well as take a look at the floor plan for NACV 2017.

In its first year, the NACV Show aims to be a new concept for trucking and transportation industry trade shows, focusing on featuring brands and equipment from leading industry names rather than recruiting drivers or featuring in-cab technology, along with a global perspective that may introduce some fleets to technology outside of what they may usually see at other industry conventions.

“This is the place to be in September to experience everything new the commercial vehicle industry’s leading brands have to offer, said Joe Glionna, President of Newcom and co-organizer of the NACV show. “We expect fleet management leaders and influencers from around the world will convene at our inaugural trade show to conduct one-on-one meetings with their favorite equipment providers, to connect with new suppliers and to invest in the latest trucks, trailers and commercial vehicle parts and components.”

Among the attendees slated for the event, Navistar, Volvo, Mack Truck and Daimler Trucks North America have all staked out a claim for a spot at the NACV Show 2017.

In preparing for the September convention, the NACV Show expects nearly 10,000 visitors to attend in order to observe over 400 exhibitors in a 350,000 square foot showroom.

Visitors for the show are encouraged to visit the NACV Show site and create their show planner in advance in order to map out an efficient and broad trip to the show.

“Our floorplan is very comprehensive and easy to navigate for attendees who want to pinpoint exhibitor booths and product categories before visiting the show,” said Larry Turner, co-organizer of the NACV Show and President & CEO at Hannover Fairs USA.

The show will be open to select attendees only via key exhibitor invite on Mondya, September 25th. Beginning on Tuesday, September 26th, all attendees will have access to the floor.

The ATA signaled support for the NACV Show earlier this year, with President Chris Spear formally endorsing the event and expressing the organization's apparent involvement in the show.
