Averitt Releases Annual North American Supply Chain Survey Results

Earlier today, Averitt Express announced that the results from its fourth annual State of the North American Supply Chain Survey have been released, a survey conducted in late 2018 with responses from more than 2,300 North American-based shippers.

According to Averitt, the survey was comprised of questions that pointed at supply chain challenges shippers experienced in the last year, such as questions concerning tariffs and volume of shipments.

Some of the results revealed from the survey show that 69.55 % of survey participants expect to ship more freight in 2019 than in 2018, marking a 6.3 percentage point decrease from the survey the previous year.

Other answers from the survey that have been publishes concern freight capacity as well as data concerning freight damages.
