Ryder Senior Vice President of Sales Joins Women In Trucking Board

Earlier this month, Women In Trucking announced Delores Lail, senior vice president of sales of Ryder Fleet Management Solutions, East Region, would join the organization as the newest member of its board of directors.

In joining the Women In Trucking board, Lail reports that she joins a group that promotes gender diversity within the transportation industry and that she hopes to use this position to promote greater awareness for careers in trucking that are oriented towards women.

“I am grateful to support Women in Trucking as a board member and be a part of their mission to promote awareness and education for sustainable careers for women in this exciting and growing industry,” said Lail. “There are unlimited opportunities for equal employment and vast room for advancement of gender diversity. I look forward to being a voice for women’s challenges and providing a path for greater success of women in our industry.”

Women in Trucking reports that Lail’s responsibilities at Ryder include sales leadership and other aspects of sales in her 35-plus year career.

The organization reports that it has experienced a valuable relationship with Ryder since 2014, with the company acting as a proponent of diversity within trucking.
