Roadrunner’s Active On-Demand announced as Top Performing Ford Motor Company Supplier

Earlier this week, Active On-Demand, a Roadrunner Transportation company announced that it has been recognized by the Ford Motor Company as a top-performing global supplier at the 20^th Annual Ford World Excellence Awards.

Of 88 companies selected from reported thousands of Ford suppliers across the globe, Active-On Demand reports that it was selected as a finalist due to the company’s impactful presence in the transportation industry.

“Our team is extremely honored to receive this prestigious award for the third time in four years,” said President of Active On-Demand, Tom Stenglein. “The Aligned Business Framework Award is a true testament to the relationship we have created which is focused on transparency, responsiveness and premier operational performance. We are very proud of our team and the mission critical air and ground transportation solutions they deliver with precision, dependability and reliability.”

Ford Motor Company reports that recognizing companies such as Active on Demand demonstrate a powerful relationship across the global and helps cement the reliability of the parent company to clients worldwide.

Active Transportation reports that companies were honored in several categories including inhabiting primary brand pillars such as quality work, safe and smart transportation and green initiatives as well as development in supplier diversity, among other operational tenants.
