ExpressTruckTax Now Allows Filers to Submit 2290 Form Early

Earlier today, ExpressTruckTax, a system designed for e-filing Form 2290, the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax announced that its platform was open for the 2018-2019 tax year.

Developed by software company SPAN Enterprises, ExpressTruckTax was created to help users remain compliant by filing the IRS form 2290 and receiving a stamped Schedule 1.

“As the industry leader we are very excited and look forward to continuing to support the trucking industry with simplified 2290 tax filing and innovative features,” said SPAN Enterprises CEO and & Co-Founder Angie Sundaram.

Beginning today, those filing with ExpressTruckTax will be able to file online, preceding the official filing season for Form 2290 that runs from July 1 through August 31, 2018.

SPAN Enterprises reports that filers will be presented with the option to directly submit tax payments to the IRS in which the form undergoes an instant audit internally before being sent to the IRS.

Additionally, the company reports that the software offers 2290 amendments in addition to free VIN corrections and form retransmittal for any rejected 2290 forms.
