Old Dominion Frieght Line Drives MLB Send-Off Events

Earlier this month, Old Dominion Freight Line announced that the company will be driving the celebrations for the Spring Training send-off with Major League Baseball teams across the country.

The company reports that as the Official Freight Carrier of Major League Baseball, the carrier will partner with the Los Angeles Angels, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets for their spring training send-offs.

Old Dominion Freight Line reports that before the trucks move the team equipment and other essential items, the send-off events will allow fans, players, coaches and even mascots to celebrate together as the unofficial start of the 2019 MLB season begins.

“These MLB clubs understand the value of Old Dominion’s premium service, ensuring its transportation to Spring Training goes as planned,” said Dick Podiak, vice president of marketing and communication at Old Dominion Freight Line. “We’re excited to move clubs again this year and help kick off the 2019 baseball season.”

While some MLB teams have already celebrated their kickoff days, Old Dominon Freight Line will helps the Kansas City Royals prepare for their Arizona trip on January 31st as well as moving the Mets to Florida for Spring training on February 4th.
