SAE International To Join Automation Technology Meetup
by Jake Tully - Published: 7/03/2018Earlier this week SAE International announced they will join companies such as PAACAR and Peloton in order to host a Trucking Automation meetup at the PAACAR Innovation Center in Sunnyvale, California on Thursday, July 12 from 6:30 -8:30 p.m.
According to SAE International, the Trucking Automation meetup will include presentations from PACCAR Innovation Center hosting the event as well as presentations from Peloton Technology and Starksy Robotics.

SAE International reports that presentations will be followed with a group questions and answers session with the audience of the Trucking Automation meetup.
Presentations at the meetup will reportedly focus on technology and next-generation research that may impact the commercial trucking industry in regards to autonomous driving.
Reportedly, each of the presenters at the meetup will provide information regarding particular technologies within the realm of automation.
