Trucking Tech Companies To Hold Panel in Oakland, CA To Discuss Indsutry Changes

In order to discuss the ongoing role that technology plays within the field of commercial trucking, two industry-related technology companies, FR8Star and KeepTruckin will be hosting a panel on May 23, 2017 in Oakland, Calif. for truckers and industry members alike.

According to both technology companies, the trucking industry has experienced an unparalleled period of growth and adoption of technology over recent years. In holding the panel, both FR8Star and KeepTruckin will focus on the estimated $700 billion that the trucking industry generates annually.

Fr8Star, a technology company focused on cloud-based tools and technologies for trucking companies reputedly hopes to alleviate the perceived inefficiencies that the industry faces.

“Both of our companies are focused on improving the trucking industry from an operational standpoint,” said Matt Kropp CEO of FR8STAR. “By helping trucking companies operate more safely and efficiently, we are enabling them to significantly cut their costs. KeepTruckin, a company focused on improving transparency and efficiency for drivers and managers is reportedly approaching the technology side of the industry with electronic logging device tools and equipment.

Among those speaking at the technology panel on May 23 is CEO of FR8Star Matt Kropp and CEO at KeepTruckin Shoaib Makani.
