Michigan State Police are seeking help in their search for a truck driver who struck another semi and caused it to roll over, before driving away. They are calling the incident a serious case of road rage and the suspect a danger to other drivers.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at around 11:30 a.m. on Michigan’s northbound I-69 near the N-Drive N exit, which is in Calhoun County’s Convis Township between Marshall and Olivet. The truck driver who was struck told police that the other truck driver also heading northbound, had passed him and made “aggressive gestures” on his way by. He then swerved into the victim’s semi-truck, which caused him to run off the road into the ditch and then roll over several times. The suspect then took off and fortunately the 39-year-old victim, (who wishes to keep his identity private) survived the crash suffering only minor injuries. He was treated at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall and released.

Another stroke of luck is that the victim’s semi also had a dash camera that recorded the incident. Michigan State Police have now released the video and hope that it will help to identify the suspect semi and his semi-truck. Authorities believe the suspect truck is a newer-model Freightliner and that it is white in color with a tinted window on the passenger side of the sleeper berth. They also describe details that include black lettering on the passenger’s side door and below the sleeper window, small markings near the nose on the curbside, a possible crack in the van box near its landing gear. MSP also believe the trailer would have likely sustained damage on the passenger’s side from the impact and may have even scraped off red paint from the victim’s semi.

According to the victim’s description, the suspect driver is a black male. Anyone with information that can help locate the suspect and/or the suspect semi-truck is asked to call the MSP Marshall Post at 269.558.0500.

that looks more like an International Pro-Star than a late model Frieghtliner, I hope they catch his ass, that was deffinately deliberate or another instance of the all too common ass monkey doing something other than driving either way it's attempted murder.
