ABF Freight Receives Payroll Award

North American-based logistics company ArcBest announced that its less-than-truckload carrier ABF Freight received the 2018 Prism Award, a recognition given to companies for their payroll practices at the Prism Awards in Las Vegas on November 8th.

Given to ABF Freight by the American Payroll Association, the Prism award is reportedly awarded to companies that institute innovative payroll practices by means of technology, process involvement, and best practices overall.

“It is rewarding to see our ABF Freight payroll department honored for working to improve our processes and efficiency,” said Bryan Swaim, vice president – pricing, treasurer & controller for ABF Freight. “I am proud of our team and their dedication to serving ABF Freight employees with excellence.”

According to sources at ABF Freight, the payroll team at the company is being recognized for efficiently and accurately utilizing payroll practices that benefit nearly 7,000 employees on hourly wages.

Sources from ArcBest report that the payroll department at the company has received payroll award in 2017 and 2015 as well.
