NFI’s Vice President of Fleet Services to Speak On Sustainable Trucking Technology

Earlier today, North American-based transportation service NFI reported that James O’Leary, President of Fleet Services at the company will speak at the Moving America Forward: Next Generation of Truck Freight Transport Summit at The University of Pennsylvania on October 25th.

Speaking at the panel session “Electrification & Fueling Future Freight” sources at NFI report that O’Leary and his fellow panel moderators will speak on the topic of emerging trucking technologies that may allow fleets to shift from diesel fuels to alternative power sources.

“As electric and natural gas trucks enter into the market, shippers are showing more interest in implementing similar technologies to create sustainable operations,” said O’Leary. “However, with any major change comes uncertainties and challenges. Partnering with a 3PL like NFI can provide consulting and the expertise to ensure a seamless integration.”

NFI reports that O’Leary will specifically speak at the panel regarding his experience as an end-user participating in the industry as an influencer in using electric trucks.

According to NFI, the company currently operates with more than 4,000 tractors and 9,000 trailers across its various fleets.
