ArcBest Named Great Supply Chain Partner 2018

Earlier today, Fort Smith, Arkansas-based logistics company ArcBest announced that the company has named among the 100 Great Supply Chain Partners for 2018 by SupplyChainBrain magazine.

According to ArcBest, the annual list of the 100 Great Supply Chain Partners compiled by SupplyChainBrain features companies recognized by customers for providing noteworthy services and solutions.

“I am pleased that ArcBest is once again recognized as a Great Supply Chain Partner, and I am grateful to our customers who took the time to nominate us,” said ArcBest chairman, president and CEO, Judy R. McReynolds. “By providing a best-in-class experience and emphasizing innovation, we will continue to partner with customers to address their toughest supply chain challenges.”

Sources at SupplyChainBrain report that the list of 100 companies is compiled after a six-month online pol of supply chain professionals is conducted, with nominations compiled by leading transportation industry figures.

“For 16 years running, SupplyChainBrain has published our much-anticipated list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners,” said publisher of SupplyChainBrain, Brad Berger. “This year’s field of nominees was competitive and inspiring — coming from all sectors of supply chain management.”

ArcBest reports that the company’s carrier ABF Freight was included on the 100 Great Supply Chain Partners list in 2016 and 2017, and the 2018 list will appear in the October 2018 edition of SupplyChainBrain’s magazine.
