by Jake Tully - Published: 8/21/2018

The Virginia-based American Transportation Research Institute released a call earlier today for trucking industry stakeholders to rank top issues of concern for the industry as well as strategies in which to combat the concerns.

Entering its 14th year, the 2018 Top Industry Issues Survey will collect data from transportation and trucking industry members to help inform top issues of concern as they relate to business, operations, and overall industry flow.

"ATRI's research provides a chance for thousands of trucking industry professionals, from drivers to executives, to weigh in on the most important topics that affect trucking and collectively decide on the best strategies for addressing each,” said ATA Chairman Dave Manning, president of TCW, Inc., Nashville, Tennessee. “Completing this survey only takes a few minutes, but its impact can be immeasurable."

According to the ATRI, survey results will be released during the ATA Management Conference and Exhibition in Austin, Texas in October of this year.
