ABF Freight Wins 2018 Quest For Quality Award

Earlier this week, Fort Smith, Arkansas-based logistics company ArcBest announced that ABF Freight, a division of ArcBest has received one of Logistics Management magazine’s 2018 Quest For Quality Awards.

According to ArcBest, ABF Freight was recognized in the National LTL Category, having previous received awards in 2017 and 2015 for the National LTL Carrier as well as awards in the Expedited category in 2016.

“We are honored to again receive a Quest for Quality Award,” said, ArcBest chairman, president and CEO, Judy R. McReynolds. “At ArcBest, we are committed to providing a best-in-class experience for our customers, and it is rewarding when customers recognize our efforts to offer solutions for their supply chain challenges.”

Sources at ArcBest report that the Quest for Quality Awards are annual awards marking the culmination of research projects over a six-month period conducted by Peerless Research Group wherein transportation providers are rated on customer service, overall value and on-time performance, among other categories.

Over 4,500 ballots from decision-makers in the field of logistics and supply chain professionals were counted upon in order to determine the 2018 winners, reports Logistics Management magazine.

“Quest for Quality Awards are uniquely purposeful in our market because the winners are determined by our readers — the buyers of logistics and transportation services who put these carriers and service providers to work on a daily basis all over the world,” said group editorial director of Peerless Media, the publisher of Logistics Management, Michael Levans.

The August issue of Logistics Management currently features the 2018 Quest For Quality Awards winners, with winners also being honored at the 35^th annual Quest for Quality Gala Awards Ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee on October 2^nd of this year.
