by Jake Tully - Published: 4/13/2018

Earlier this year, United States-based trucking company Quality Carriers, the largest chemical bulk tanker trucking company in North America, announced a new lease-purchase program, “A New Lease on Quality”, for drivers in hiring locations across the country for multiple types of lanes.

According to Quality Carriers, the company’s lease-purchase program will allow drivers to choose from over-the-road, regional, dedicated and local routes depending on their driving preferences and individual needs.

Lease-purchase drivers with Quality Carriers will also receive incentives when joining the new program including a $2,500 sign-on bonus, new Freightliner Cascadia models with a five-year extended warranty package-including towing, low weekly payments under $600 and financing options, among other incentives.

Quality Carriers reports that lease-purchase program participants will also receive the opportunity to work with industry professionals and quality equipment when on the road, including sleeper cabs for drivers opting for over-the-road and regional runs.

Eligible drivers for the lease-purchase program must meet Quality Carriers’ minimum driver requirements such as holding a status as a company driver with the carrier for a minimum of two months while their new lease purchase truck is being prepared and other age and safety requirements.

According to the company, the new lease-purchase program is an additional extension of the company’s commitment to providing drivers with options to customize their careers to best fit their lives, a continued effort to support their drivers in finding their lane.
