by Jake Tully - Published: 4/06/2018

Earlier today the American Trucking Associations announced that Sentry Insurance has renewed as a Featured Product Provider for the third consecutive year with the association.

According to ATA President and CEO Chris Spear, Sentry Insurance is a valuable partner for the industry in providing peace of mind for those who utilize the services.

"Building a business requires bold thinking and taking advantage of opportunities, but sometimes setbacks happen that we don't anticipate or foresee," said Spear. "Knowing that your company is protected by reputable insurance companies like Sentry Insurance gives motor carriers and other trucking industry stakeholders a sense of security when conducting their daily operations and delivering America's freight."

The ATA reports that Sentry offers its customers personalized plans for protection in relation to the size and operation of the trucking company with multiple coverage options available.

Scott Miller, Sentry Insurance Vice President reports that partnering with the ATA may help promote safety and security in the industry as well as providing an individualistic experience in an industry that is often data-driven.

"We believe in the work that the ATA is doing to support the trucking industry and to help make our nation's highways safer. Supporting the ATA through their Featured Product program makes sense for Sentry, because we share many of the same goals for the industry," said Miller. "Our directly-appointed independent agents who specialize in trucking risks feel the same way.”
