Hybrid Trucks Available For Trial Runs From Hyllion

by Jake Tully - Published: 3/01/2018

Trucking technology company Hyliion now has a way for fleets to embrace a “green” operation – through a trial fleet of hybrid tractors that companies may use for a week with no charge.

The trial fleet from Hyliion, outfitted with the 6x4HE, is reportedly designed to deliver up to 30% fuel savings with their class 8 trucks.

Thomas Healy, Hyliion CEO and founder report that offering customers the chance for a trial is an excellent way to help companies incorporate green technology into their daily operations.

"We are excited to offer our customers the chance to test a Hyliion enabled vehicle in their own day to day business operations,” said Healy. “It is a big decision to adopt a new technology and the opportunity to take the truck for a trial run makes all the difference.”

The trail announcement from Hyllion comes in advance of the company’s appearance of the ATA Technology & Maintenance Council’s Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition to be held in Atlanta, Georgia on March 5th – March 8th.

Hyllion reports that trucks will be available for trial runs beginning March 12 and can be reserved by emailing trialtruck@hyllion.com or calling 1-8333-HYLIION.
