ATRI Announces New Board Of Directors Appointees

As the year winds down, the American Transportation Research Institute announced yesterday the appointment of four new members to its board of directors in multiple positions within the organization.

Upon the appointment of ATRI Chairman Judy McReynolds and ArcBest Corporation Chairman, President and CEO appointed Andrew Boyle, Benjamin McLean, Dennis Nash and James Reed to the ATRI board of directors.

The ATRI reports that the newly appointed members to the board of directors come from leadership positions at trucking companies in the country, including Ruan Transportation, Boyle Transportation, Kenan Advantage Group and USA Truck.

"Our board plays a critical role in guiding and shaping the priorities for ATRI," said Rebecca Brewster, ATRI President and COO. "We benefit from a very engaged group of board members and are pleased to have these gentlemen join that group."

In addition to the four new board of directors, the ATRI Board reports that they have appointed Karen Rasmussen to the chair ATRI’s Advisory Committee.

Rasmussen, president and CEO or HELP. Inc., Phoenix, Arizona will reportedly replace Scott Mugno was received a nomination to lead OSHA.
