by Jake Tully - Published: 8/25/2017

Truckers finding it difficult to sleep on the road may soon find some assistance in catching up on valuable rest with help from trucking company Minimizer and the release of the Long Haul Series Mattress.

According to Minimizer, the long haul series mattress is specifically designed for over the road truckers and its release is accompanied with a lifetime guarantee.

CEO of Minimizer Craig Kruckeberg reports that engineers at the company spent time researching what factors would make a trucking-specific mattress more comfortable for drivers sleeping in the cab.

"My engineers researched mattresses for over a year and found a big gap with what's available in a home mattress versus a truck mattress," said Kruckeberg. "It shouldn't be like that. Why would truck drivers be expected to sleep on something inferior to what the rest of the world has available? So we set out to make the finest mattress available for professional drivers. Based on test feedback, I'm confident we hit a home run!"

Minimizer also reports that in order to contribute to the health of drivers using the mattress, doctors were consulted in the research process.

According to Minimizer the Long Haul Series Mattress is composed entirely of natural, organic latex foam as opposed to memory foam which may retain body heat and lack buoyancy.

The release of the mattress form Minimizer reportedly follows the release of the Long Haul Series Seat from the company in 2016.
